Easy Recipe – Gawar Fali Sabzi
Ingredients:
- 1 cup DGU Gawar Fali (soaked if dried)
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp jeera
- 1 pinch hing
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 chopped tomato
- ½ tsp haldi
- 1 tsp mirchi powder
- 1 tsp dhania powder
- Salt to taste
Method:
- If using dried Gawar Fali, soak in water for a few hours and rinse well.
- Heat oil in a pan, add jeera and hing.
- Add onions and sauté until golden.
- Add tomatoes and cook until soft.
- Add all spices and mix well.
- Add Gawar Fali and cook on low flame until soft and well coated with masala.
- Stir occasionally and cook until fully done.
Serve hot with roti or bajra roti for a true traditional experience.
